We are hiring skilled Pipe Welding Technicians and Mechanical Helpers for an upcoming commercial and industrial construction project in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pipe Welding Technician – Job Duties:
- Perform pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials
- Utilize welding processes such as Stick, TIG, or Flux-Core as required
- Assemble and install piping systems according to drawings and specifications
- Read blueprints, welding symbols, and layout instructions accurately
- Maintain weld quality to meet inspection and project standards
- Work safely in confined spaces or elevated areas when necessary
Mechanical Helper – Job Duties:
- Support welders and pipefitters with material handling and tool setup
- Measure, cut, and prepare pipe under supervision
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas
- Assist with general mechanical and construction tasks
- Learn industry skills while working with experienced tradespeople
Qualifications:
Pipe Welding Technicians:
- Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience
- Ability to pass a jobsite weld test
Mechanical Helpers:
- At least 1 year of experience in construction, mechanical, or industrial work
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug screening
