Job Description:
As an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, typically across states or nationwide. This role requires a commitment to long hours on the road, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. OTR drivers often spend extended periods away from home, offering competitive pay for the demanding schedule and travel involved.
Responsibilities:
Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper handling and delivery.
Maintain your cargo van in good working condition.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments, meeting customer expectations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Follow all road safety regulations and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Must have 3 month old authority (MC & DOT)
Good Driving Record
Drug-free
Driving experience
Valid Drivers License
Located in the United States
High School Graduate
Have a smartphone
Be able to use a GPS without an issue
Be able to drive at night time without an issue
Be able to communicate effectively through applications such as Whatsapp
Compensation:
$6,000 – $8,000.00 per week
