Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Commercial Mechanical Installers for ongoing commercial construction projects in Columbus, OH. This role is suited for skilled tradespeople with hands-on experience installing and servicing mechanical systems on commercial job sites such as offices, hospitals, retail centers, and large facilities.
This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to jobsite safety.
Key Responsibilities
Install and align mechanical equipment and assemblies on commercial construction sites
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and mechanical layouts
Assist with equipment setup, anchoring, and mechanical connections
Perform inspections and basic mechanical adjustments
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and rigging equipment
Work closely with supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules
Follow all jobsite safety rules and OSHA regulations
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in commercial construction or mechanical installation
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical knowledge and tool handling skills
Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass drug screening and background checks
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
